TERMS & CONDITIONS

While every effort is made on the accuracy of this website, Tengu Asset Management cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions occurring in the production or changes to accommodation, restaurants, or amenities as specified, during the validity of your stay. Care will be taken however, to ensure that you will be notified of any major changes that could affect the enjoyment of your holiday.

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT

Payments should be made as early as possible to avoid loss of booking and cancellation. All bookings are subject to availability at the time of reservation. Tengu Asset Management reserves the right to change schedules with reasonable notice. Confirmations and invoices are subject to re-issue if incorrect through error or omission and the customer accepts liability to pay the correct costs for services. All prices and services specified in this website may be subjected to change.

NUMBER OF PERSONS

Our occupancy is strictly determined by fire code regulations. Under no circumstances can we permit more guests than we have allotted for. However, children under 3 will not count as a member of your party. Baby cots are available upon request with a charge.

PAYMENTS – DEPOSITS

Once a booking has been finalized and the booking confirmation has been emailed stating that your reservation has been confirmed, a 20% deposit of the total cost will need to be paid to Tengu Asset Management within 7 days of receiving this confirmation of your booking. Failing to meet the required deposit date may lead to an automatic cancellation of the booking.

PAYMENTS – BALANCE OF

The balance of payment will be required 60 days prior to the guest arrival date. For any bookings received within the 60 day period, a full payment is required within 5 days. All payments must be made prior to check in.

AMENDMENT FEES

Amendments may be subject to charges if dates are changed or persons reduced once the booking has been confirmed and will also be subject to the same conditions as outlined in the cancellation policy. Note amendment fees may also be charged by suppliers that will be charged on to the customer.

PAYMENT METHODS
1. Credit Card:

Payments can be made by way of credit card. The payment instructions will be sent to the customer as a link in an e-mail once the booking has been confirmed. The accepted card types are Visa Card, MasterCard, JCB, and American Express. We cannot guarantee that on the day we process the card that the conversion rate will be the same as from which it is debited from your account. This is entirely up to Visa International and thus we can take no responsibility for the conversion rate at which your card is confirmed at and then the amount from which is debited from your account.

2. Bank Transfer:

Payment can be made by the way of domestic (those residing in Japan) or international bank transfer. Make sure when international bank transfers are performed to specify that bank’s charges are to be paid by the sender. These are known as “Correspondent charges”. All bank transfer fees must be paid separately to the reservation cost and this is the responsibility of the customer.

3. Paypal:

Payment can be made via Paypal using the link provided.

PRICES

All prices are quoted in Yen and must be paid for in Yen. All prices are subject to change but upon receipt of payment within the specified time periods, pricing is guaranteed. Additional costs caused by factors beyond our and our providers’ control are unrecoverable.

SECURITY BONDS FOR APARTMENTS

Credit card details are required upon booking as a security for the chalets. Management of these premises requires all guests to accept responsibility for loss and damage to the building and furnishings.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All reservations are subject to cancellation charges. Please read carefully before making a booking. In addition to cancellation charges, bank transfer fees will also be incurred by the customer.Bookings made 60 or more days prior to arrival results in a 14 day grace period. However, a 20% of booking cost will be charged if a cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to arrival, and after the 14 day grace period. 100% of booking cost will be charged for cancellations made 60 or fewer days prior to arrival. Insurance covering cancellations is strongly advised.

ACCEPTANCE OF BOOKINGS

Bookings are accepted subject to the services or accommodation applied for being available.

ARRIVAL INFORMATION

Tengu Asset Management staff must be advised in writing of your arrival time, without this information we may not be able to arrange a seasonal fluid pick up and check in procedure immediately after your arrival.

CHECK IN / OUT TIMES

The accommodation is available for occupation from 3.00 pm on the day of Check In. The accommodation must be vacated before 10.00 am on the day of Check Out.
Where accommodation is not vacated by 10.00 am a late Check Out fee of JPY 10,000 for each hour or part thereof will be charged.

DAMAGES TO ACCOMMODATION

You accept responsibility for loss and damage to the accommodation, fittings, furniture and keys during your occupation. A valid Credit Card is required as a security deposit and you authorize us to charge all fees and charges properly chargeable under this agreement to that Credit Card. Credit Card information will be taken from you during the reservation period or upon check in. Your personal possessions, including lift passes and hire equipment are at your own risk during your stay.

NO SMOKING

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all self-contained properties. Management have the right to evict your group or any individual from the accommodation without refund.
If anyone in your group has smoked in the accommodation you will be charged additional cleaning costs AND costs incurred in compensating later guests who are affected by the smell of smoking or the owner of the property for bookings that need to be relocated to a different property.

REFUNDS

Any refunds paid by Tengu Asset Management to customers will incur the cost of the bank transfer fee. In the event that the refund is less than the cost of the bank transfer fee, the refund will not be processed. Refunds can only be made by the way of bank transfer, no cash refunds will be made under any circumstances.
Any refunds due cannot be processed until the relevant funds have been returned by suppliers to Tengu Asset Management should one or more suppliers be involved in the booking process. Insurance covering cancellation is strongly advised as some cancellation penalties are strict.

INSURANCE

Travel insurance is strongly recommended during any travel and requires a policy that covers winter sports including skiing and snowboarding.
You accept these terms and conditions in full when you pay your deposit.
