  • How to get  to Hakuba

  • HOW TO GET TO THE SLOPES

    Panorama Hotel – The Nakiyama Slope at Happo-One is approximately a 5–10 minute walk from the hotel. During the winter season, we provide a morning shuttle to Nakiyama for hotel guests. Advance booking is required.

    The Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal is also a short walk from the hotel, providing access to shuttle services for other resorts. Depending on your destination, you can use individual resort shuttle buses, the Hakuba Valley Shuttle, or a taxi. Please check the latest route and timetable before travelling.

    Le Bocage – Shuttle bus stops serving the major Hakuba ski resorts are located just a short walk from the chalets. Routes and timetables vary by resort and season, so please check the latest information before departure.

    Creekside – Creekside Chalets are located approximately a 5–10 minute walk from Escal Plaza at Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort. From Escal Plaza, guests can use the Hakuba Valley Shuttle to travel to other ski resorts in the valley, with transfers where required.

    Free resort shuttle services also connect Hakuba Goryu, Iimori, and Hakuba47.

    Please note that the Hakuba Valley Shuttle is complimentary only for guests with an eligible Hakuba Valley Pass on the day of use. Otherwise, a fare applies.

    Shuttle services typically operate from mid-December through late March. Exact operating dates, routes, and timetables vary each season and may also be affected by snow and road conditions.

    Individual Resort Passes

    Full day and half day passes are available at each resort. You can purchase multi-day passes at resorts, but they often need to be used on consecutive days. For pricing, visit the individual resorts websites.

  • Ski & Snowboard Rentals
    We are partnered with Central Snow Sports which are located by the Happo Gondola and in Echoland. Book with them on-line, specify you are staying at Panorama Hotel or Le Bocage.

    Panorama Hotel – When you are ready, please come see us at the front desk and we will call them to arrange a fitting. Their shuttle will pick you up, help you through the fitting, and will drop you off back at the Panorama Hotel.  At the end of your trip, simply leave the equipment in our dry room on the first floor and they will pick it up later.

    Le Bocage – After you arrive, walk up the street for 2 minutes to their shop in Echoland for fittings.At the end of your trip, simply leave the equipment in our dry room at Le Bocage and they will pick it up later.

  • Ski & Snowboard Lessons
    English lessons for skiing and snowboarding are offered daily in the am, pm, or full day for both adults and kids. There are group and private lessons, resort guiding and backcountry guiding. Let us know your levels and kids ages, and we can help book the best ski / snowboard school for you.

     Hakuba Snow Sports -Quality instructors in the quieter Iimori resort. Hakuba Snow Sports has group and private lessons. To get to Iimori resort, you are able to catch a free shuttle bus.

    Evergreen International Ski School-Evergreen is located at the base of Happo resort at Kokusai Slope. They have group, private and backcountry guiding. Accepts kids from 3 years old. They provide a free shuttle for their customers.

    Hakuba Ski Concierge-For a private VIP experience, you can book a day or half day with them.They will take care of your door to door transportation.

  • WHERE TO EAT
    There is a Hakuba Taproom restaurant in the Panorama, serving western food with 10 different types of Baird craft beer. This is a family-friendly restaurant.

    The restaurants will be very busy so reservations are highly recommended.

    For winter season, we recommend you to book via TableCheck. Please let us know if there’s anything you wish to book that isn’t listed and we can try and assist.

  • WHERE CAN MY KIDS JUST PLAY IN THE SNOW?
    Most resorts have fenced off kids playing areas.

    Nakiyama Snowland is located at the bottom of Nakiyama slope.

    Kids area at Goryu is located at Toomi slope in front of the Escal Plaza .

    Iwatake White Park has a kids play area. Even if you don’t ski or snowboarding you can enjoy the beautiful view from the City Bakery.

    Tsugaike Wow offers up to 10 different snow activities for kids and adults.

    Check the ski resort websites for more information. Or just bring a sled out and play in the huge piles of snow that accumulate at the Panorama. But Please be careful of snow falls from the roof.

  • Car rental
    Renting a car provides the flexibility to travel on your own schedule. You can easily visit multiple ski resorts, explore the region. We recommend renting a car especially when you are planning to visit Hakuba the beginning or end of season as snow conditions can be variable and some ski resorts may not be fully open and having a car can help you reach resorts with better conditions or other attractions in the area.
